Flavors from the Fire

This booth has been so good, we’ve stopped at it every trip! The Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak might just be the best dish of the whole festival. It’s served on a smoked corn cake with pickled vegetable slaw and cilantro aioli on top. Definitely a must try – you’ll thank me later!

The Chocolate Studio

This pick was absolute bliss for my sweet tooth! We ordered the Liquid Nitro Chocolate-Almond Truffle and it did not disappoint. You get to watch them prepare it by dropping it into liquid nitrogen, cracking it open with a mallet, and topping it with warm whiskey caramel sauce and crunched almonds. Cool process to watch, delicious spot to eat at!

The Refreshment Outpost

After seeing dozens of pictures of this on social media, I had to stop and try the No Worries Panna Cotta. It’s definitely worth the walk to the Refreshment Outpost by Africa. It’s made up of 3 layers of raspberry, papaya, and mango panna cotta with a cookie crumble base and topped with the cutest Lion King white chocolate medallion. This dish is mom & toddler approved!

China & Japan

China and Japan have been my favorite beverage stops this year. For an adult beverage, head over to Japan for a Tokyo Sunset. (not pictured) It’s made with coconut rum, peach schnapps, banana liqueur, pineapple juice, and garnished with an orange slice.

For a non-alcoholic beverage must have, stop at China for their Mango Bubble Tea! The Tea Cart has a peach option year-round but the mango one has been a highlight of the Food and Wine Fest this year.
