Epcot Food and Wine Fest (2018)

Epcot Food and Wine Fest (2018)

The Epcot Food and Wine Fest is my absolute favorite fall festival. It’s always such a fun time but Disney has really stepped up their game this year!

New Food & Wine from all over the world, of course.

Spicing up this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Fest are new dishes from places like Brazil, New Zealand and Thailand.

The best way to “Eat/Drink around the world” is to make all of your stops shareable. That way you’re getting a taste of everything without getting too full and your costs are split in half! However, even while splitting dishes you’re left with dozens of food choices.

So, I’ve laid out our Top Picks!

Stops in Italy and Spain are always a must. This year we went for the Frozen Limoncello Margarita and the Mezzi Rigatoni (located in Italy) and the Seafood Salad in Spain. Both stops were delicious, but just not our favorites.

The American Adventure is a traditional favorite for us. You can’t beat the New England Lobster Roll (located at Hops & Barley) and Ciderboys Strawberry Magic Hard Cider (located at Block & Hans). Talk about a refreshing lunch!

Speaking of refreshing, stop by France for La Passion Martini Slush and a Creme Brûlée a la Confiture de Framboises! The La Passion Martini Slush is a frozen slush made up of vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron, Cranberry, and Passion Fruit Juice. And Creme Brûlée? With Raspberry jam? That is always a yes!

Craving more sweets, we made stops in Morrocco and the Almond Orchard. WOW! Almonds everywhere! Morrocco’s Chocolate Baklava was delicious but the Almond Orchard’s Banana Almond Soft-serve Sundae was to die for! Perfect for a hot September day!

We also stopped in Canada for Canadian Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup served with a pretzel roll. While a delicious dish, I’d save this one for a cooler day. Something about eating hot soup on a 90 degree Florida day just wasn’t working for me. Ha-Ha! (I wonder why!)

If I’m picking one dish as my favorite, it’s definitely…

The Almond Orchard Banana Almond Soft-serve Sundae! This beautifully delicious ice cream dish was so refreshing! Nothing too sweet about it but it held an amazing blend of flavors. And really, can you ever go wrong with ice cream?!
