Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Monthly subscription boxes are incredibly trendy right now but are they worth the cost? I tried Ipsy Glam Bag for 6 months and here’s what I think of it. I’ll share the products I received and go into a full review of the service in this Ipsy Glam Bag Review.

Keep in mind, a review is just an opinion. This is just based off of my personal experience with Ipsy Glam Bag over the last 6 months.

I was super excited to join the Ipsy Glam Bag bandwagon after hearing that there was no waitlist like there is with some of the other monthly subscription boxes out there but I was a little skeptical because the service only offers sample-sized products.

Ipsy Glam Bag costs $10/month and can even be paused for a month or altered to ship every other month. They are very tailored to keeping their customers happy which is HUGE in my book!

You start your Ipsy Glam Bag service by taking a mini beauty quiz where you tell them your hair and skin type and all of your beauty interests to help tailor your Ipsy Bag products to meet your needs.

Now let’s talk products

With each Ipsy Glam Bag you receive 5 sample-sized products and an adorable small make up bag to hold them all!

During my subscription, I received a total of 30 products. Unfortunately, several products were of the same variety. My first few months I received a form of eyeliner every month which was kind of disappointing because lipstick is by far my most used/obsessed upon product. I did however receive two lipsticks and several face cleansing products which I loved.

Ipsy Glam Bag also opened my eyes to new brands and products I never knew existed and I now LOVE. (Dr. Brandt’s Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner is AMAZING!)

Conclusion:

Ipsy Glam Bag is an excellent monthly subscription if you’re looking for a variety of sample-sized products to try. The company is geared towards keeping the customer happy and the products (while sometimes repetitive) are fun, good quality products!
