First off, stop thinking of Pinterest as “social media” – it’s not. One of the first things I learned when I became a Pinterest Ninja was that Pinterest is a search engine just like Google! That means that in order to be recognized, you have to know what they’re looking for.

Pinterest is constantly looking for new content – they love showing you the “We’re adding new ideas to your home feed” message for a reason…

Pump the breaks, I’m not saying you should be flooding Pinterest with a new blog post everyday!

What I am saying is that new content that Pinterest loves so much can easily just be a fresh pin created for an old blog post.

Once you publish a new pin (no matter the date of the content its attached to), Pinterest automatically sees the new content and gives you a better chance of pushing you back to the top of the smart feeds when users open the app/home feed.

Try to create about 3 new pins for various posts each week. That way there’s always a chance of your content being seen! This especially helps after your views have taken a dip.
