Fort Wilderness really is a resort unlike any other. It’s the only Walt Disney World resort where you can have a sing-a-long by a camp fire, learn archery, and even go horse back riding. In addition to all that, the resort features a lake front beach, two pools, two outpost shops, playgrounds, a dog park, a restaurant, a bar, and their very own dinner show; The Hoop Dee Doo Revue! The wildlife at Fort Wilderness is what really puts the emphasis on Wilderness, however. Each cabin at Fort Wilderness is a standard one bedroom/one bathroom villa-type suite that comfortably sleeps 6 people. You’ll find a set of bunk beds and a double bed in the bedroom with a double bed sleeper sofa in the living room. Each cabin also comes with a full kitchen including a large refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, stove top, microwave/convection oven combo, and cabinets full of cookware and flatware.

4. Perfect for family or couples only trips

There’s something for everyone at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness. Couples can enjoy a romantic getaway filled with adventure at every turn and families can enjoy time together filled with activities that will please everyone. In addition to the activities I’ve already gone over, Fort Wilderness has carriage rides available and boats and canoes available for daily rental. They also hold special holiday activities like costume contests, golf cart parades, and beach bashes!

If you aren’t sold already on this resort, you’ll be taken back on the pricing. To recap, the Cabins at Fort Wilderness are spacious one bedroom villa-type suites in the Magic Kingdom resort area. Here’s what comparable rooms at the other Magic Kingdom area resorts are going for currently:
