Pin trading is one of the most fun activities you can do at Disney but it can be a costly one if you’re not careful. That’s why I’ve started these Disney Pin Trading Starter Kits.
Pin Trading Basics:
Disney comes out with several new hidden mickey pin collections every year and they work a lot like traditional trading card collections. The goal is to find a collection you like and trade your way to complete the set.
Cast members throughout the parks (and Disney Springs) can be seen wearing lanyards filled with tradable pins. The cast members with black lanyards are free to trade with people of all ages. Keep an eye out for cast members wearing green/teal lanyards; They’re only permitted to trade with kids ages 3-12.
